Correspondances is a collection of 8 pieces of jewellery made in different colors and with different botanical images.
Correspondances is inspired to ancients images of flora and fauna from XVII century. The colours, which surrounds the whole natural landscape, are used like watercolors just to redefine some species or gradient, in order to create a “correspondance” between each little animal, flower or landscape selected from these ancient archives. In some objects, like in the big square pendants, there are mirrors behind the silks that give depth to the images, emphasizing the perspective.
Materials | Techniques: silver, mirrors, steel, pure silk, plexiglass, goldsmithing, photo etching, digital print, laser cut, hand sewing.
